Speak now or forever hold your peace...
I am a geek. Definitely was one. Never realized unconsciously trying not to be. I guess will forever be one. A+ to Jong for this mind-blowing revelation...
Geek (noun) - One who plays a lot of PS2? Dunno.... Dahlah pakai spek, hisap rokok pulak tu. They say smoking is bad for the bones, among other things, and I guess I can testify to that, having both my legs broken at one time or another (coincidentally my left leg during the '98 WC and my right leg during the '02 WC). Thankfully I have only 2 legs (yeah, the other stump can barely fit into that category, I wish... maybe not, leave that to Jack....).
Now I will speak....
Ever noticed how fast-food restaurants never give enough tissues/napkins? Why is this? Is there a quota on how many can be given to customers? To save trees maybe? I hate this because my kid has perfected the art of eating using every body part imaginable before the food finally gets near the mouth area. Please.... bagi lebih la brader, gua ni dahla something like OCD, pantang comot nak lap. I've even got baby wipes (wet tissues for babies to the uninitiated) in my car, maybe it's a geek thing? or maybe more likely just me....
I will speak more...
My first memories of flying (in airplanes, I mean) are rather shady, since they were back when I was still a young, but the ones I remember usually involve either MAS or AirAsia, and almost all of these involve the cheapest seats available. So it was tripping for me when I was on board a KLM flight, in Business no less, in my company trip last week. My observations is this. If flight attendants (the female kind) were used as a gauge for a country's female population, I believe Malaysia should win any and all beauty pageants hands down. Maybe it's just me, but being attended to by a malay-speaking, tight-kebaya-wearing dudette is way better than having a she-man, war-attire-wearing dudette (or maybe dude? I dunno... never sneaked a peek at the necessary areas) breathing down your neck. Most likely just me...
Will the speaking ever end...
Do I look like a terrorist? I hate the fact the without fail, during x-ray and metal detector checks at airports, I have to take of everything metal, which most of the time includes my belt. Can I actually do something with my bloody quiksilver buckle that can compromise the safety of the flight I am about to board? Sheesh. Thank god the metal rod in my right leg doesn't set of any alarms, or I would probably have to be strip-searched and have cavity searches done... sheesh. And this is Europe... god knows how it is now in the US of A. Next time I'll check in my right leg along with my luggage maybe..... again, just me... enough about legs.... Dol... no more.....
Damn I've been back 4 days and still on european time.... can't sleep nights...
Still don't know what this blogging thing is all about, just happy to have something to do until I fall asleep.
